Two months...that's awesome C!! It's been 16 years and 12 days for me. I'll now bore you with an entry from a journal I kept at that time...it's the only journal I've kept...
The past couple of days have been very fast paced for me. On Tues. the sixth of December, nineteen hundred and eighty-eight I graduated from the Middletown Center for Chemical Dependency after three months as a "successful" patient.
This is my coin I received on completing the program and already it has become a sacred thing to me.
I passed it around to my group members who rubbed it for luck. I never knew what I had in that group until I left-well, I knew but when I left I felt it-love and acceptance. The two things I've looked for most in my life. Now I just hope I can give some of that love back.
Doll, if you make it to three...that coin is yours. Seriously.

Chilean Rose named Charlotte, some sort of stripe knee thinger named Isis (She was beautiful, yellow and blue designs on her...) and Mallory, the huge black tarantula who we did not know her breed. She was all black, and had a blue iridescence to her when you shone a light on her. Agressive as all get out. She was a mean one! I liked those tarantulas, except for having to feed Isis and Mallory baby mice. Yeah they were that big...
