You may or may not remember me ranting about the douchebag who owes me a lot of money. $250, to be precise. That figure has now jumped to $466 dollars, as I was rudely made aware of by a letter from collections. Apparently this incredible asshat cancelled his phone with Nextel (the one that was on my account) and didn't pay the cancellation fee of $216. And, of course, didn't bother to tell me.
I paid it immediately. So now I'm out $216 dollars.
I despise this guy. This situation isn't some isolated incident. This guy is complete scum and would dupe his dying grandmother to get what he wants. I hate him with a passion. And I feel completely helpless to get what I'm owed from him. All I can do is call and harass him, and so far that's gone nowhere.

The sleazebag actually IMed me and told me to "chill the fuck out already" because he was "just waiting on his new check card to come in the mail" and I'd have my money any day now. I told him I would not chill out, I had been patient long enough.
Now the hilarious part: he told me that since he was out of a job, the money he was giving me was from his inheritance from his late grandmother. "I just lost her. So piss off," he said. I replied, "I'm sorry for your loss but that doesn't change the fact that my credit has been fucked up thanks to you taking advantage of me. I expect my money by Monday." He's a lying sack of shit. And even if he's not, I don't feel an ounce of pity for him.
