In spite of being so tired 5 hours ago that I almost fell asleep at my computer desk, and on top of that taking a Percocet right before bed, my eyes shot open at 2:05 AM like someone had given me a shot of espresso intravenously. I didn't want to get out of bed, because this waking up at 2AM is becoming a habit that needs to be nipped in the bud. However after 15 minutes of tossing, turning and laying still, I couldn't take it anymore and headed for the kitchen to make some hot chocolate. I refuse to take another Percocet. I will probably be awake until 6AM.
Physically I feel somewhat better. My throat still hurts but it's no longer agonizing, and now it's only radiating up one ear canal instead of both.
I played Monopoly today with my parents and one of my sisters. It was nice.
