Why is everyone so fascinated with Chuck Palanicarauacocks books? I've never read one, but now I'm thinking about it. Which one should I read, and why?

i think i liked choke best, but the plot is a bit convoluted and more than a bit irrational, so if that bothers you.. heh, well then i don't recommend any of his books. smile
don't start w/lullabye. i was really disappointed with that one.
