Well, Christmas is past. I received an Xbox(I haven't played video games since maybe Tekken 2 came out, so it's time to jump back in), a shelf stereo thingy, and a DVD player. Not too shabby. I actually didn't really expect anything, so it was a pleasant little surprise. A day of unwrappy joy, as it were. Now today on the other hand, was a big pile of hot monkey nuggets, fresh out of a chimps ass. I was called into the bosses office and given a write up paper to sign, saying that I have to stop coming in late or it's off with my head! Or at least out of a job. I tried to explain that they know I have a problem getting another car, but nooo, wouldn't hear it. Who needs to sympathize with the little guy, right? All they care about are their frickin bonus checks, the smug bastards. Anyway, they are letting me take this week coming up off, using my vacation time, to finally take care of this situation. I must get a car, if it is the last thing I do. I did tell them before I walked out, I said "Just to let you know, if I'm not able to take care of this problem you might as well fire me, because I know that's basically what you're saying, right?" and that was that. On and up note, this really cutesy girl who works at Blockbuster wants me to hang out with her because she wants to be my friend, so that's cool. She's really nice and always seems interested in what I have to say. And I can use a new friend, even if she is married. So she got my number off the computer there, and I told her to call me. A bad thing happens, and a good thing comes around to level things off. All in all just another day in the life of a schmo. Later.
