Everyday keeps dragging and dragging on......bleh...I like watching people walk by and wonder what they have going on in their lives.....probably more than I have going on......of course, some of them are probably worse off than I am. So that's reason for hope, is it not?

.........well, I went in today to get my brake pads
changed. I was told a few days earlier that it would
be about eighty bucks. When I went in today to get
it done, they checked it out and told me I needed
break pads, new rotors, and new ball bearings, and

turned into EIGHT HUNDRED DOLLARS!!!!!!!!

Just finished reading Memnoch The Devil by Anne
Rice. She has a pretty interesting take on God and
The Devil. Very good book. I've always wondered
whether or not God actually still loves Satan after
all he did and has done over the millenia..........

Ahh......the birds are singing, the wind is blowing, the squirrels are playing......the bombs are exploding? What's up in Iraq anyway? Are we going over there to stop a powerhungry dictator or are we going over there to take control of the precious oil reserves? Who knows these days........but I'll keep listening to the birds and the squirrels, and pretend that it's all gravy........

I think this whole war thing is about oil. A lot of
people think that. Oil is money. Why are we
focusing on Iraq all of a sudden? What's up with
North Korea? What about the "war on terrorism"
which has done nothing more than beef up security
everywhere and chipped away at our rights? Eh....
