I've been sipping Whiskey and coke for awhile now, so excuse me if I say something stupid. Today was a sucky day for the most part. I woke up at like eleven in the morning. I didn't plan on sleeping that long, but it happened. I went to the grocery store to buy food, came home and watched The 25th Hour, with Edward Norton, which...

I find it very admireable when people go out of their way to do something for someone else. It could be a single person, or the masses, animals, the enviornment...
It's all about giving, and not expecting anything in return. You'll feel alot better with yrself. ... Oh God, i sound like a fuckin hippie. i'm gonna stop.
I hope yr day of drunken fun went well, and yr head doesn't hurt tomorrow morning.

Time is the fire in which we burn........I love that line. And it's oh so true. Every day we get that much closer to the end, so we should be making every second of every minute of every hour of every day count for something, right? It's amazing to me that some people don't see that. I don't want to look back on my life...

i dunno, there are a billion things you can do to help out/make a difference. Like every once in a while you can volunteer at a hospital and read to sick kids or older people and junk. WHen i was in college (before i dropped out whatever ) we used to do midnight runs in new york city. we'd collect clothes + make pb&j sandwiches and put juice or water and stuff in brown paper bags and give 'em out to homeless people. sometimes that was really scary tho. cos you'd see 16 year old kids on the street, sleeping against a building with nothing. other times it was scary cos some of them are kind of crazy and they'd yell and scream at you... luckily we were in a pretty big group everytime.
There is also lots of enviornmental stuff you could help out with.
i guess it all depends on how yr willing to spend yr time.

I have to make a decision. Am I going to continue going through this daily routine of waking up, going to work, and coming home and doing nothing with my time? Every single day the same old thing. I'm dying like this! I have to make a change. But what? Something, anything to turn my life on it's head and throw myself a curveball. Any...

A new job may help your feelings of routine. Or maybe a new activity to help you look forward to. What kinds of things are you interested in?

Ahh........Saturday morning.......the birds are singing, the sun is shining, the cars whisk by on their way to wherever it is they are heading........there is beauty in the world, we just have to know where to look and how to see it........I believe there is beauty in all things, even in death.....the eye of the beholder seeth much....
crazygrrl:
Did you make a good day out of Saturday anyway?

The skys here in Savannah are filled with weirdness lately. For the last few months, planes have been flying high in the sky leaving behind these trails of...something. It's not contrails, or vapor trails, because those disappear. No, these spread out and get bigger and cover the sky eventually. And there is usually more than one plane at a time doing it, and they overlap...

I have the mother of all headaches. And probably the father too. No point in taking medicine for it because it will go away on it's own. I've found the best cure for a headache is a nice hot shower. And a shower can make you forget all the troubles of the day as well. All the pain, all the stress, all the sadness you...

thanks darlin'! I appreciate the concern.

I kinda feel the same way that you do about some of the improvements that I'd like to make.

But the biggest improvement I need to make is my self confidence.

Age is just a number. I don't understand why some people think you should act a certain way, and that certain way should be determined by a number. Why should I suddenly become a stuffy adult who is all business and tucked in shirts and ties and work work work and no time for fun and let's be Mr. Serious....screw that. I'm going to be...

Right on! Yeah I feel the same way even though I'm 20. I have a hello kitty air freshener hanging from my mirror, and powerpuff girls mounted on my dashboard, and a powerpuff gir wheelcover. Not to mention my size, but everyone thinks I'm like 16 or something. Screw them!

So once there was this squirrel named Jimmy. He lived in the forest with all of his little animal friends, doing squirrly little things. But Jimmy had a problem. For Jimmy had a weak bladder. His friends knew of Jimmy's dilemma, and totally supported him when others made fun. There was one bad egg in the forest who continually persecuted Jimmy, regardless of whether his...
