WANTED: Ultimate Frisbee players in the South Shore area of Massachusetts.
my "team" is lacking this pre-season. And it looks like (on paper anyway) that we are going to lose 2-3 of our star players this season.
Not cool.
We would like more people to play with us anyway... BUT...we need some good disc players.

In other news, but closely related.... we had our 2nd frisbee practice today. Nothing too too extreme. No real drills or anything. just warming up the arms and getting ready for the spring/summer season.
of course the field was soaked from all the rain....
and OF COURSE.... i'm the only one of us who was slipping, like a softball sized soap bar in an ice rink with the sprinklers on, and of COURSE i slip and fly through the air and on my ass and slide 8 feet and soak straight through the 2 pairs of pants i was wearing.
we move to a drier portion of the field.
then 30-45minutes later i get a change of clothes. New socks and new shorts.
5 minutes after i change....
I slip, fly, land, slide... Right on my ass again. Soaked through the shorts.
ugh.
oh well. it was fun.
now it's 4am and i got home from work an hour ago... so i think i am going to bed right about now.
