So for the 2+ years that I've been around this site I've never seen a sg camping trip actually work the way it was intended to work out but I thought for sure this year would be different. Well I slacked on dring out to the coast which in the end wasn't such a bad thing for me as much as it was for missmayla who went all the way out there only to find all the camp spots taken so she came back. Sucks!!! So then I'm told they will be going out east and was given directions. Once crawling through 205 re-paving traffic I made it out east only to drive 20 miles up a dirt mountain road and not find who I was looking for because there's no phone service out in them thar woods but I swear I could hear a banjo playn' and a pig squeelin'. So after trippn' that my truck was going to crap out in the middle of nowhere late at night I turned around and came home. Now I think I will head out to the DP for a few beers.

Actually, when I went to go check out Oswald West, I was really hoping to find a spot because it looked really nice down there! I definitely want to go back and camp there one of these days... somewhat soon, too
Yeah, I didn't realize that it was going to be so high up the mountain. Sorry about that! I figured that you had probably turned around when you didn't show up. I would've done the same if I was going up there alone haha.
