So I got this fancy pants new road bike for xmass and have been riding it a bunch. I usually take my doog for runs with it and she's pretty good doing that. Messed up thing is that the bike wasn't tuned correctly when it was assembled so it will switch between gears every once in a while. The crappy thing is that when it happens I get a half crank of slack in the chain and two times that it's happened my foot has slipped off the pedal. Being that I only have one hand on the bars and a dog leash in the other I've bailed a couple times pretty hard. That's not so fun on pavement I tell ya. Oh well it's nice to have bruises and scabs every now and again. Lets you know you're alive.....
