Here we go again!
Why would Friday night be any different? Just filled with dissappointments.

I know I shouldn't rely on anyone but myself. I always get my hopes up and then the outcome is different than expected, thus, leading to disappointment.

Anyway, this weekend is Mother's Day. I'm a little bummed out because I've spent that day with my mom the last 2 years, but she'll be here on Wednesday night. We'll have our celebration the weekend of Memorial Day.

I leave for Las Vegas on Thursday. It's for work (10-hour days in the hot Las Vegas Convention Center - I probably have blogs posted from last year), but I'm looking forward to uninterrupted sleep and a little fun as well. Maybe this year I'll be lucky in gambling, since I've been unlucky with love.

There are 2 events planned with my booth crew: dinner on Saturday night, and Cher on Sunday night. That should be interesting.

I make it a point to go see a Cirque du Soleil show each time I go to LV, but this trip I didn't get any tickets. If I do, it would be by myself, since the next show I want to see is Zumanity, and there is no way I should go with people I work with.

So.. this weekend is all about getting ready for the trip: waxing, nails and hair!!! Oh, and laundry, and cleaning up the apt so my mom won't complain too much.
