Poor Oz. He was so scared when I took him to the vet this morning. Going outside was scary enough already, seeing he's an indoor kittie. Add to that a bikeride with passing trucks and a school full of kids (we passed an elementary school on our way to the vet, just as school started), and you get an Oz that's sobbing in his little carrying bag on my back. He did calm down as soon as we arrived at the vet, I guess he just didn't like moving. Or maybe seeing my brother's cat Tigger at the vet (who is the same age as Oz, and is also getting fixed today) made him feel more at ease .
I hope surgery goes well. He's getting fixed, and getting his umbillical hernia operated on. They're going to call me this afternoon when he wakes up. Should be around 2 pm my time . I took the whole day off, seeing I had to take him in at 8:30, and have to pick him up early in the afternoon. It takes me over an hour to commute to work, so it wouldn't be worth it. By the time I got there, it would have almost been time already to leave to pick the little guy up.

I've been sick the past few days, sinus infection. I'm feeling a lot better now though. I slept a lot. And I went through a whole box of tissues this week. Did you know most (non-prescription) cough syrup has alcohol in it? At least here they do. Didn't realise that untill recently. Guess I drink alcohol afterall.

Ok lovelies, time to get back to CSI. You might remember I bought the first 6 seasons recently . I started watching the first season this week. The show really got better over time.
