It's 5:45 AM, and me and Saveme/Pajamamama just got back from bringing Avidity to the airport. Her flight left at 5:15 this morning, that's crazy! I think her and I got about an hour of sleep, so I hope she manages to catch some sleep on the plane. I know I'm going to bed right after I post this . Mmmmm, sleeeeep.
I'm gonna miss Saveme, Shimmer and Avidity when I go home next week . I've had such a great time hanging out with them, and it's so nice to finally meet people you talk to online or on the phone almost daily. I kinda wish I could stay here, and hang out with them all the time .

Anyway, enough sappyness. Quick recap of the past week (pics will follow I'm sure, but they're spread out over 4 people/cameras at the moment):
Avidity arrived on Saturday, she actually arrived about 30 minutes early while me and Saveme were running late getting groceries and dinner (by far the worst KFC I've experienced in my life, but I'll rant about that another time) on our way to the airport. Sorry we kept you waiting lady! Seeing it was already kinda late when we got back, we didn't stay up long. On Sunday Avidity and I took a walk, and shot some pictures. It's just so lovely here. She didn't like the pier that much though, as you might have read on her blog . The rest of the day the 3 of us basically just hung out together, took tons of pictures and videos, and played with Saveme's kids (I love them, they're so great). Mike and Ike made for a good snack at 2 AM.
Shimmer joined us on Monday, yay! I cooked (I think Shimmer and/or Avidity have pictures of the result), and we just hung out and talked untill the wee hours of the night/morning. Too bad Shimmer had to leave already on Tuesday . I would have loved to spend more time with the 4 of us. Saveme, Avidity, BoogalooShrimp and I had tickets to see Reel Big Fish in Boston last night, but with BoogalooShrimp being stuck at work (all the way in VT), Saveme's back preventing her from going out, and no transportation (car is still in the shop), we just stayed in. It kinda sucks because we all really wanted to see them, but if I'm honest, I think just spending the evening in with Avidity and Saveme was better than any show could ever be. Regardless of who's playing.

Edit: almost forgot about my new profile pic. As everyone that met me might know, I hate being on camera. Avidity on the other hand wanted pictures of everyone to remember her trip. So the first 2 days was sort of a game between me and her where she'd try to get me on cam (and smiling at that, which is even rarer than getting me on cam ), and I would try my best to either escape the camera or obscure the picture . I think I enjoyed that game more than she did . This is one of her first attempts at getting a picture of me, walking home after picking up lunch. The timing was just perfect . I did finally give in though, so she and Shimmer got a few pictures of me. I was actually smiling in a few of them!. I looked horrible in all of them though...
