First of all, I want to thank everyone who wished me a happy birthday 
. Especially the gorgeous Saveme, who sang happy birthday for me on my voicemail first thing in the morning! You rock, lady, and not just for that

Today I'm having a birthday party. Well, mostly some relatives stopping by. My parents and brother (duh, it's his birthday, too
), some aunts and uncles, cousins. I don't really celebrate my birthday, just enough to get money from everyone 
.
Anyway, birthday bashes require cleaning up () and shopping, so that's what I did yesterday and today. Even cleaned (most of ) the bathrooms, kitchen, the works. Big spring cleaning basically. Now time for some well-deserved lounging before people start showing up .
Tomorrow I'll probably be home, someone is coming to clean and check the heater, he comes every 2 years (contract). I might go to work in the afternoon if the mechanic is early (he's coming "some time between 8:30 AM and 12:30 PM"), otherwise I'm taking a whole day off. I'm hoping he comes late.
I might do some foodblogs the coming week, if the dinners are worth blogging about. I'm making grilled asparagus with prosciutto, rosemary potato wedges and pork tenderloin, tortellini with chili stuffing and brocolli, and risotto with brocolli and asparagus the coming week.
Work should be really starting to get busy next week, so if I seem to have disappeared from the face of the earth, that would be why.
I'm hopelessly behind on commenting on blogs, haven't had time for thought-out responses. Untill I find time for that, I'll leave some big snuggles for Saveme, Rozaline and Pammy, and let Cassy and Avidity know I've missed them the last week, two weeks (a lot). Oh, and good luck to Shimmer, with her interview at school. If I left anyone out, forgive me. I haven't read all the blogs yet.

I got a text from a friend the other day, hadn't talked to her in ages. And ever since, I've had this song in my head. It's one of her favourites, and it's from one of the Silent Hill games.
And I ate too much crap today. Stomach isn't agreeing with all the pie and chips, and nothing nutricious I ate today. Oh well, that's what birthday parties are for .

the weekend was ok. interview didn't go as planned, and long story short, i won't be moving to ny. there's so much more to discuss with glenn, but if he wants to really be with me, he will have to make some sacrifices too. or not, and then we will go our separate ways. we will see.
