Today I have wished to be in China and Burma, living like a buddhist monk, then I wished to be on a snowboard, riding the troughs of some lonely mountain, then I nipped over to ireland to drop in on pedigree_chump in his stony cottage by the sea.
But all this is fantasy...for now..
In reality tho I have had a lovely day. Today I...

I have an infection that just will not go away.
No, this time I do not mean a malignant boy-creature-thing [to be honest, they stay away to start with!
] but a horrid kidney infection that began in may! sigh...
Ah well, it is through suffering that we may achieve enlightenment is it not, and at least this way I can skip work and lie...

Hello you,
No, it was actually a very romantic story, in the dramatic sense of the term. Teenage love & feelings you don't know how to express... for they were so new to us at the time.
I don't know why I felt like writing that. I woke up thinking about those lines I wrote. I love strangeness & it just felt right.
I hope you're OK & had a nice weekend. I am still thinking about the best way to answer your question, "what's a Kinto?" It made me laugh

Hi Milky,
thanks for the post.
Yes you have read S, you describe it perfectly. Ever found the poem on Tom Bombadil? Its in Roverandum complilation of stories. If you haven`t you will like it.
I work in a ladies fashion company that supplies the high street. I am in sales / administration.
I have always wanted to write, but am a lazy fuck (I`m not being fair to myself there really) and I want to write a fantasy novel.
I`m on chapter 2 at the moment and all my research is done, which has been an on going process over the last 10 years or so, (I`m 32). The research has been on Asian Tribes (includes mongols, chinese, turkish, altaic, hungarian, russian and loads more, pre-modern religion, so mainly tribe around 500 bc to 500 ad ish.
I`m finally happy with what`s coming out of me and i`m learning to just plough on and go over things latter.
If you wanna read any let me know (it bores most people to tears!).
I`ve wanted to branch out of fantasy a bit with a few other small projects, but I haven`t found a writing style that works for me other than fantasy. Well there you go.
Maybe more information than you wanted!
Have a great weekend, hope the big smoke gives you some blowbacks

I've never really beena huge fan of the chilli's, but I thought they were fantastic at Hyde park. (with the exception of Flea's trumpet solo)
I only really went because my girlfriend had a spare ticket, but like I say, the Chilli's won me over.
I was kind of bowled over withthe scale of th thing as well, it was the biggest thing I'd ever seen for just one band.
I really didn't know what to make of James Brown though...
Do you think he still gets groupies

Astronomer Sir Patrick Moore is recovering in hospital after a bout of food poisoning that nearly killed him.
Sir Patrick, 81, who has presented the BBC's monthly Sky at Night programme since 1957, was forced to miss his show on Sunday evening for the first time because of the illness.
The bout of salmonella is thought to have come from a duck egg Sir Patrick ate last Wednesday at his home in West Sussex.
He is being treated in St Richard's hospital in Chichester and is expected to leave later this week.
"I very, very nearly died, it was quite awful," Sir Patrick told the Independent newspaper.
"I can't be sure but I believe it was the egg I ate that evening. I suddenly collapsed and was taken to hospital it was very serious indeed."

kew gardens is such a nice place! apart from the air planes that is. once i saw this strange bird there, it looked a bit like a little dinosaur, with really sharp fangs in his beaker and long claws. i'm not kidding, it was eating ants and seemed to belong in a different world.
