terribly inconvenient, but it has meant i've been able to put a nicotine patch on without having any temptation to smoke. i might as well take advantage of it, i guess

We went via Newcastle ferry (an experience in itself), landed at bergen, drove north to the artic circle, then back down to Oslo, then to stavanger to get the ferry again.
