can i just say thank you so much to everyone for leaving me such lovely birthday wishes. makes me want to have a birthday every day! oh, and it reminds me just how cool it is to know you guys. 
well, after a splendid dinner party on friday night [and my head in the toilet on saturday morning] i made it to london for the last of my birthday celebrations. today was a big meeting of family for a feast to commemorate my mum and dad's 25th wedding anniversary, goodbye thing for my aunt and uncle who are going to go and live in new zealand, and my bday. it was really lovely and reminded me that even tho we may all be very different creatures, family is just so important and i wouldn't change any of them for the world.
thinking about going into london tomorrow on my day off to get some dreads put in. i have become sloth and a half tho so may not make it that far! feel like a change tho...
have just discovered the joys of sexy underwear and how it can make you feel like a goddess! am toying with the idea of purchasing these beautiful pants albeit heinously butt rapingly expensive. ah well, the price of beauty and ambrosia-laced existence...*sigh*
hmm, otherwise not an awful lot going down. am very much enjoying the leaves on the trees turning to rust and especially reds. not impressed that it's november and still so warm. i even heard some albatross outside my window the other day which definitely signals strangeness
got given an electric guitar and amp today by my aunt whose grandkid didn't want it! it's brand new!! and in true amateur style managed to break a string in the process of tuning because i was turning the wrong nodule. oh.bloody.hell. incompetence is in the water and in my brain. it's time to sleep.
promise to write individually soon. i haven't forgotten you just been crap so thank you for your patience

yes i did go to game at midnight to try and be one of the first to get the new grand theft auto game......trouble was so did half of london! i've never seen anything like it (apart from on the news when they showed people queing for buzz light year dolls however many years ago) i was there for a good couple of hours (i know that's really sad! you don't have to say it) but well worth it........it's such an amazing game! you should try it
