As I look out of my window the first leaves of autumn are starting to fall and the deep chill of winter is spreading it's wake. Today feels like it's going to be a strange one. Dark, oppressive clouds hang low: nothing could pierce them. But who would want to: it's like being curled up in a cocoon.

I've started playing the guitar and can play a few chords and the first couple of bars to "for you" by tracy chapman. ok, not quite gary glitter yet, but just give me time... I'd love to be good at it. I guess it's a little every day will go a long way. am very excited because my aunt has randomly found and is giving me a bass guitar and amp that she found squirrelled in her house. way hay!! lots of jamming sessions with the crab-like october on the horizon.

well, without the help of any kind of man-creature we finally networked our flat- yay! [ok, i lie - the nice man on the phone at Apple told me what to do- but I *did* it if you see what i mean! ] which means that i will probably never leave my room again and at the end of the month you will find me glued to my desk by a puddle of spittle still trying to write an email.

eugh, what a horrid picture dont worry folks, im at the lesser end of hardcore when it comes to la internet.

mandarin is coming on nicely but it's a bit worrying that i can say "brandy" but i have no idea what the word for "goodbye" is yet crazy days indeedy.
