Don't you just love it when the wind is howling outside, it's dark and it's cold but you're snug indoors? it reminds me of what it would be like if you were badger or ratty or mole from wind in the willows. but don't listen to me, i'm a crazy lady that's going to have 6 cats, a dog, 3 donkeys, a goat and a plastic bag and live in eastbourne as la spinster.

I've had a really lovely day today as I got to see one of my good friends who has just come back from 2 1/2 months in uganda. She had a wonderful time helping educate children about aids- and sunning herself on the white shores of zanzibar beach. ah, i am tres jealous as i sit here in front of my computer as white as a sheet. she just got dumped by her boyfriend so tomorrow we are hitting the town and doing some serious retail therapy... oh *come* on, it's what girles do best when they feel like shit.

I have just realised that once again I am going to miss the monthly fetish night in Bristol so sorry october, nonchalance and queenevileel I really was looking forward to a good spanking but my parents have decided that we need a good holiday to blow all of those nasty cobwebs away -and not a moment too soon. Instead of white sandy beaches I shall mostly be gaping at fijords and nice scandinavian men. yes, you guessed it, the destination on the menu is none other than the rugged norway and goddammit, i can't wait!

I love the idea of the extreme cold, and one of my favourite destinations was iceland where i got to see a green smudge in the sky one night and have subsequently told everyone that i have seen the northern lights- hah! *hardly*, but it impressed me no end. One day I shall make it to lapland or antarctica and kidnap one of those roodboy penguins ah well, it sure beats albatross...

To get me through this year of hell I am planning to go snowboarding this season. Dear old student loan, it really is a godsend...
