Sonofabitches!!!! Bastards!!!! Muthafuckas!!! and any other foul name I can think of to describe the management of General Electric (GE). Well, I was temporarily laid-off today for at least 30 days...they called it a work stoppage or a stand-down...whatever the case may be, I ain't gettin paid for a month or more. Part of me is furious because of how it all went down, you know the early morning conference call where they drop the bomb on you...it sux dix!!! The other part of me is kind of glad, I could use an extended amount of time off, maybe I can get some things going or better yet look for something better. I've been in this situation before so I can handle the whole joblessness, but you're still never quite prepared for the axe to drop.


I've already started to formulate a plan of action for my time off and how to maximize everyday. So here it is...

-Continue to wake at 5am...but now I'll exercise for two hours.

-Spend 2-3 hours a day or every other day job hunting...the earlier the better.

-Work on and finish little projects around the house.

-Spend a good amount of the day shooting pics and working on my CS skills.

-Lastly, spend more time with my family.


It's a simple plan that I believe will yield the most benefits for me at this point...If I follow this plan and stay patient and focused I'll be in a situation where I won't have to go back and work for GE....bastards!!!
