Had to take off yesterday from work, I was having some crazy stomach issues, hopefully today will be ok. I swear sometimes I feel like I'm falling apart.
In other news, the fam and I are heading to Dallas this weekend for business and pleasure, who says you can't mix the two! But nah, one has nothing to do with the other in this case, we're meeting with a financial advisor to get a better sense of where we are, what we need to do, and how to do what we need to do to get to where we wanna be in the future...ha ha I hope you didn't get lost in that last sentence!!! It should be pretty interesting, we've never sat down with someone to discuss our financial situation but hey there's a first for everything. I just hope we come out of the meeting more focused (financially) and not pissed at each other for some off the wall reason...money has a tendency to do that to people. As a matter of fact, tonight we'll cut of the TV and computer and sit down and have out preliminary talk about our goals and aspirations for the future before we even talk to the advisor...he suggested we do this anyway. Besides meeting with the financial advisor, we're going to go to church with a friend this Easter Sunday and then go to dinner at a nice restaurant with some other friends, should be a really nice weekend. We'll have more pics of us in our Sunday's best...nothing like the good ole fashion Easter pictures.
