This weeks @bloghomework is What would you like to accomplish in the next year?
In the next year there are so many things I want to do, want to cross off my list, and accomplish! I'm always eager to see what the next day holds, and with so many accomplishments that I've already had this year I can only imagine what the next year holds!
I'm going to make a list of the things that I would like to accomplish in this next year:
• More self discipline. I tend to be rather impulsive and make decisions based on emotion, rather than logic or what have you. So I've been training myself lately to think about things before I do them and think about things before I say them. So far it's been working pretty well, but I hope to be at a state where I can just naturally think about things and filter them with out making that conscious effort to do so.
• Stop saying yes, so much. I'm the kind of person who says yes to any plans or any favors anyone usually asks me. And I put myself in terrible situations where people count on me for things that in reality I cannot do or help with. I also tent to make too many plans and double or even triple book myself and then I end up looking like an ass and flaking out on someone. Which sucks, and doesn't look good, or feel good for who ever I ditched. It's terrible but I'm too nice and want to be every where at once and help everyone all at once. But I really just need to not confirm things because it will make me happier in the long run and less stressed out.
• Shoot with @smashbase ! I had made plans to shoot with him back in March and was super pumped, I had everything planned out and was super stoked! I've been a fan of his work for a very long time and was eager to shoot with him! Timing and money showed lack of face and I had to regretfully cancel. But we WILL shoot! Because I already have a perfect concept and panties and they are being saved for Chicago! :) hehe. But seriously. Goal for the next couple months!
• Get way more involved with SG and my local SG. After going to the MX SHOOTFEST and meeting some of my SG sisters and then getting back home and discovering and meeting my local SG sisters it made me really want to represent SG more and be more apart of the community! I love the community we have here and I just want to jump in the deep end and swim in the SG waters! My local girls and I are planning a SG party and I'm super excited for that!
• Travel to California. My tattoo artist opened a shop in San Diego, and I hope to travel there to get work on my side done as well as get intouch with SG's out there. Also, never been to Cali and would love to cross it off my list of places to go!
• spend more time with family and loved ones.
• make a print shop.
• learn Spanish.
• Go on a east coast road trip with my bestie for her birthday!
• save enough money to move out of this state and to somewhere warmer; or at least into a house to call ours with my honey. :)
I think that sums up most of my goals for the remainder of this year/into next! I'm sure more will come as time goes, but that's fun of life! Everything is changing and growing as we do! :)
