Ugh. horrible, knackering times.
We lost one of our cast on saturday, 4 days before we opened. Bastard got a big film role and just upped and left us in the shit. we spent all saturday phoning everyone we've ever worked with and actually our new actor is great, picking everything up really fast and well, but it's been a frightening nightmare. we've all been working 9AM till midnight for days. and to top it all, we're really not sure if the show works. the script is quite odd, and audiences just don't seem to be getting it, and if the critics feel the same, we won't get the audiences, which will hurt us financially. and since he's directing it, I also have to cope with my beloved's horrible spiralling depression.
ugh again.
Father Christmas is going rather better at least, opens next week, bring your kids.
