There is only one thing I wish I could change about myself. It's something I've only recently come to realise has been holding me back from so much in my life. If I could change anything in the world, it would be the fear of my own mortality. It hasn't been until recent years and with the passing of my Farvie (grandfather) that made me realise life is short, it's temporary and can be gone in the blink of an eye. This fear and awareness of my mortality has held me back from being spontaneous. I tread very carefully now.
I would love nothing more than to be a fearless, confident and adventurous woman. I would love to be one of those fun girls who takes someones hand and leads them to do something wild! I would love to be someone who could constantly challenge myself with amazing things like climbing mountains, diving into the sea without any worry, exploring and always being somewhere new.
I admire people who are able to not let fear rule them and can live their life to it's full potential. I could only hope to have that kind of bravery! It's definitely still a work in progress for me.
