@vorpal assigned us hopefuls some really fun homework this week, called #takeitbacktothesite where we post our favourite photos from our sets currently in MR and just write about them. So, I'm going to post and talk about two for you guys, and I may cheat just an itty bit. I'm sure you won't mind.
Firstly, my favourite photo of me currently in MR is from my debut set shot by @exkyu and @countessa called 'Walkabout.'
I was so nervous before shooting this I almost bailed (sorry guys) but I'm glad I stuck it out. It was so liberating and exciting. There were times I felt really awkward but after seeing these images, particularly this one, I just felt AMAZING! I couldn't believe it was me. I have a few reasons I love this photo;
1. The shape of my body in this pose.
2. My face and hair, I feel like I just look so natural.
3. The sneaky nipple, I like that you only get a small glimpse.
4. Overall, I feel like it makes me look pretty. I would show everyone in the world if I could!
I'm so proud of how it turned out, especially when I know how awkward and scared I felt that whole time.
Okay, so, here I'm gonna go cheat. This photo set isn't out yet, but it will be tomorrow so I guess it can count, right? ;)
This is my favourite photo from my new set Clarify by @coolicio !
UM THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVOURITE PHOTOS, EVER. EVER, EVER, EVER, EVERRRRRR.
It looks so much more effortless than it was. It felt horrible, my back ached, my knees and elbows hurt so much they bruised fairly quickly, my face was straining while also trying to keep it as nice as possible.
BUT THEN THIS MAGIC HAPPENED! (I must confess that @coolicio and I were extremely inspire by @milloux but I could never do the incredible shapes she makes!)
1. I was actually incredibly upset because my initial look for the set just didn't work out because hairdressers are shit and don't listen to what I want. @aubrey saved the day by doing my hair and makeup while also giving me a pep talk. I love you girl. It's weird to think of how shitty I felt and then I see this.
2. I really pushed myself to do some awesome posing, I got the result I wanted.
3. Shapes. shape, shape, shape. Look at dat shape.
4. The colours.
5. Everything really. I don't mean to toot my own horn, but this is an incredible photo.
I'm excited for you all to see this set tomorrow. I'm so proud of what we created here and hope you all do too.
