Hey SG Land!
This blog homework topic really had me thinking what a lucky duck I really am.
7/17: Who are your internet BFFs that you would like to meet in person?
Well guys, the answer to that is that I've had the amazing opportunity of meeting the beautiful lady I'd consider one of my now closest friends. It's funny to think we've only known each other for approximately a year and a half, because to me when I think about a part of my life when we didn't speak or know of each other's existence, it just seems so absurd. You know when you just connect so well with someone, that time is just trivial, you feel like your friendship/relationship just makes sense? You just KNOW each other.
We started our journey's here on Suicide Girls around the same time which is what would've made it easier for us to first bond. Our first meeting was on the first day of Sydney shootfest and I can honestly say I was so worried. What if she found me really weird? What if everything was awkward? What if neither of us were the same as we are online? What if when we met we actually clash and dislike each other? At the moment we first met, I was at ease. I knew nothing would be different and I hoped that we'd be lifelong friends. The instant burst of positive energy and happiness just filled me up and I felt silly for even worrying.
Oh, and in case you couldn't tell who this absolutely amazing person is, it shouldn't be a surprise at all that it is @sunflower!
On day 3 of the shootfest we shot out first multi together. There was many boob and booty grabs and it was wonderful. We're yet to see the results of this, I just really hope our connection shines through. SERIOUSLY, AM I LUCKY OR WHAT!?
I know I probably just sound so incredibly mushy, but honestly, she has become my rock both on and off the site. She just knows how I am and accepts that, she appreciates me with all my awkwardness and at times when I'm just a mess and completely confused, she's my touchstone. Sunflower isn't afraid to tell me when I'm being silly, she is honest while being considerate of how sensitive I can be. She has the patience and light in her to deal with me. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I will forever be grateful to Suicide Girls and the SGAU for bringing someone this amazing into my life.
You're kind. You're smart. You're important and I adore you @sunflower
So everyone, tell me, have you had an instant connection with someone online that has turned into one of your most treasured friendships? I want to know all about your journey's, no matter how long and sappy!
