I haven't yet written a @bloghomework post, but this just seemed right up my alley.
What's the geekiest thing about me?
Hands down my love for Aquaman. I mean, I love comics, but if Aquaman existed in reality... MOVE OVER MERA THERE'S A NEW QUEEN OF ATLANTIS!
Seriously, the obsession is pretty wild. I've watched Throne of Atlantis more times than I can count and I only got it the other week. Woops. If he's ever brought up in conversation I call him Arthur, just like he's a person I actually know. I even get a little emotional when people diss him, but I always try to back up the debate with my refined knowledge of Arthur because those of us who really do appreciate him, know he's a badass. As you can probably see I'm very passionate.
When Jason Mamoa and Zack Snyder announced that Aquaman was being included in the DC cinematic universe I just shot up with happiness, I think I even cried... oh no... Especially knowing that he will have a stand alone film which I reckon will kick all the haters butts! ANYWAY, I'm so excited to see the rendition of Arthur that they'll be using. I have a feeling it may be Aquaman with the hook for his hand. What do you reckon? What are your thoughts on this?
In regards to merch, I don't have too much at the moment. I went on an epic journey just to find my new Aquaman shirt. If you know any sites where I can find some cool Aquaman knick knacks, please do share! It's always a little bit harder having to search websites on your phone.
