This week was a little rough, but everything smoothed out towards the end of the week. There is no worse feeling at work than the feeling that one of your co-workers is upset with you. Especially when that co-worker is your friend. It's a horrible feeling especially when you really don't know the true reason. I will admit we got into a small tiff at work on Tuesday and I was livid.

I called my mom and best friend cussing about what happened. I was going to write her a message on myspace, but my best friend the buddy he is. Told me it would be better to talk to her personally outside of work. He even offered to talk to her for me since they used to be old roommates in college, but I told him later it was not necessary. So for the past few days I thought maybe she was ignoring me and upset at me. I asked her on Wed if she could give me a ride somewhere after work. On Thursday I got to talk to her in private about how I felt and she told me that she wasn't upset at me. She said she was sorry for being so short with me and that she has been stressed out at work. So it was really nice clearing the air. I even thought about finding a new job if it got worse, but it was mostly all in my head.

Moving on I was watching Date Line NBC about a murder case about a group of young men that got into a fight with a person and caused that person to die from Brain Damage. I feel when you throw any punches or kicks to a person. There can be a chance you might fatally hurt that person. I love watching MMA and fighting. I love watching video's of street brawls, but I personally would make it my last stance. bok

On a lighter note I had a SG member message me about taking care of Carnivorous plants. I was honored to recommend a book and give some tips on raising them.

Cephalotus

SPOILERS! (Click to view)

Cephalotus follicularis
Many growers regard Cephalotus follicularis, or the Australian pitcher plant, as the crowning jewel of their collection. Its has small tubby pitchers that gets to only 2 inches big. Around the rim of each pitcher are menacing looking teeth. When grown in bright light, this plant turns red.

Nepenthes aka pitcher plants Highland species

N. Ventricosa my very first I purchased for only $4

N. Sanguinea

N Ventricos red

The big guy himself. He needs to grow some bigger traps or I need to feed him more.

I have one more, but he is still growing and looks sorta boring. It doesn't have any developed traps, but when the traps are grown it has rows of teeth like this. Its really cool looking.
