So, I went out with a girl a few times. I didn't feel like we were making a connection, so I just kinda let it go and moved on. I got a message from her today asking me what was up. I was like "what do you mean?". "Well, I haven't even heard from you in a few weeks. Why are you ignoring me?". "Uuuh.. I wasn't really ignoring you. I just didn't think it was going anywere. Besides, you have my number too.". It was just odd. She sounded like her feelings were hurt. I never got the vibe that she thought there was something there. And I never really felt like there was. So, moving along. You know? I didn't call her, she didn't call me. Seemed kinda mutual to me. But, apparently from what I gathered today... it's just that I'm an asshole and I lead her on and she feels used. Whatever dude. I hate when people take shit so personally. Is it only my responsibility as the guy to keep things going? Sorry that's not how I roll. It's gotta be mutual. I mean "the hunt" can be fun and all. But after a while it gets kinda old. I don't know. Just kind of annoyed. Sorry things didn't go anywhere and sorry you feel ignored, but.... uh ... newflash.... WE WERE NEVER TOGETHER!!!! IT WAS A FEW DATES!!! How about you move on with your life and I'll move on with mine.
