Just to prove that me being right usually means bad things are happening: I just found out that my boss is currently interviewing people to replace me and isn't scheduling me any new shifts.
Why? Because i refused to drive, unlicensed and uninsured, the delivery truck across the city, drop off a load of boxes and then drive back.
first off, i was hired as manual labour in a warehouse. i was paid below the expected wage and i was ok with that because i needed the job. i was NOT hired as a delivery person or as a secretary/filing clerk/accountant/salesperson which are all jobs he has tried to make me do.
and now he won't give me my paycheck, return my calls, or see me when i go to his office.
i'm behind on my rent/cell phone bill/loans from friends and i'm too broke to get groceries.
BUT, on the bright side the girl who broke up with me for another guy now wants me back. but i'm too poor to take her out.
yes, once again karma has lead me to believe i might be getting out from all the shit i've been in for the last 3 years, only to smack me down again.
at least it wasn't unexpected.
Update: i got like 1/2 the money my boss owed me, but now he's claiming i tried to rip him off by not deducting the 10 minute lunch breaks from my hours. apparently the fact that i had to make an hour long bus trip to work is reason to not give me a lunch break on a 13 hour shift.
plus now that my landlord has threatened to kill me in my sleep (exact words), i'm moving out and back home to peterborough. i hate the place but ihope i can get back on my feet and then move back to the city.
and the ex girlfriend has met a new guy so once again thats a quagmire of misery, so i'm out.
