So I've realized I'm not happy right now. (Shocker!) I'm going to college, a dream of my parents not me. I feel like I'm living a lie. My orginal plan plan was to enlist into the Navy, but my entire family stopped me.Now I think that I might drop out and enlist. I'll go to college after I'm done I keep saying, but that's the thing stopping me, what if I decide not go to college after I'm done? I hate living my parents dream, not my dream.

I have to adivse you to do what you want to do. So many people have faced this dilemma. But the good thing is the Navy isn't really a lose/lose situation. Navy brings discipline, respect, a resume, and a potential full on education.
Really, aside from the obvious possible risks, it's definitely a good choice

Yea dude, the Navy is such a great branch of the military. The only way I can lose is by going to Iraq haha, nut most sailors don't. I'm doing what I want to do for sure
