I am so glad my work week is over. My work truck broke down twice this week leaving me stranded on the sides of roads for a total of six hours.

Hey, turns out that Nina Simone IS the singer that Bridgette Fonda's char liked. I asked a guy at work who is really into movies and he told me. He said he didn't know Nina Simone was a real person, he thought she was a made up name for the movie.

I love her voice and her style. I'm such a softie for certain female vocalists. Can't stand a lot of the big name female vocalists. Mariah Carey? Great until she starts squeeling, and her style isn't my thing... Liza Minelli? Whatever. Barbara Steisand? Couldn't care less. Ella Fitzgerald? Love, love, love. Billie Holiday? Rather fond of a lot of her stuff. Yoko Ono? Awesome. OK, just joking. Don't care for her stuff at all.
