Hello everybody! Grab a cup of coffee and make yourself comfortable, because I am going to talk about a subject I have never sufficiently talked about. ☕
Why did I decide to try to become a Suicide Girl? 💗
Well. It all starts when I was in high school, I discovered the SuicideGirls website through friends who followed a lot of these models, all the girls were very beautiful and unique in their own way. Over the years I have started to participate in some photographic projects, both as a freelance model, and also through hair-modeling or makeup-modeling agencies.
However, I always felt so curious .. So eager to expand my creativity and express myself with all of my potential.
I felt I wanted to try more, by putting myself on the line, to try to break my comfort zone: my idea of joining SuicideGirls was already there, in my mind, for many years, but I decided to do it in 2019.
There is nothing which I regret, my debut set shoots with a friend of mine was super funny, but I owe much of the thanks to @mads_file who is a magificent partner and accompanies me from the beginning on this journey: many of my sets were shot by her and we are continuing to do it! 🥰 (as well as several sets shot with Team-photographers!)
But what does it mean to me to want to become a Suicide Girl?
For me it means the freedom to feel beautiful even if we don't have a perfect body, to feel beautiful with our uniqueness, to be part of a community where anyone can be appreciated regardless of body size, height, hair type, skin color. Unfortunately, we have in front of our eyes every day extremely stereotyped beauty models: SuicideGirls has always been the symbol of rebellion and distinction from standards, which is why I am proud to be here, to have put myself on the line, leaving all prejudices behind.
Being on SuicideGirls is a continuous discovery, a continuous knowledge of myself, deepening the conception of my body, exploring myself, my way of expressing myself and what I want to convey. It is a continuous personal growth, and it has helped me a lot to gain greater self-esteem, because I have learned a lot thanks to my desire not to be hindered by anything. I love the sensations I feel when I pose, every time I am able to know and shows a new side of me.
On this occasion I leave you a shot from one of my most recent shootings: I love it and I like how I am pushing myself with more and more varied poses and looks! What do you think about it? 💕
