That cabin is near Hayward. You know, the infamous Sawyer County, Wisconsin? Of recent "Hmong dude kills hunters" fame. Tribal ordinances enforced. Not too different from your area I imagine. smile

Glad you like the hair, I'm pretty fond of it myself. Your're gonna be in my neck of the woods shortly, right? I haven't seen you or Les in months, so we must schedule some sort of adventure.

I don't know what I did, but Sunday morning I woke up with my neck stiffer than a 14 year old boy on Viagra. It took every ounce of my strength and will to get myself out of bed and to the medicine cupboard.

Ahhhhhhhhhh. Flexerill and Vicodin. What a lovely cocktail. I stayed in my PJ's all day fucking long. Slept on and off....

Yeah, the name is what attracted me when I was younger, but I normally hate wine and champagne, however, I just loved the stuff.

So, come for the name, stay for the taste I guess. biggrin

I'm for grass, period, although my name is deceptive; I've very rarely even had any. A handful of times in my life, really.
Somehow, I resisted the urge to "go to the next level" of drugs and take coke and heroin! whatever whatever

I did manage to get gacked on bourbon tonight, though. Oooh, "gateway drug!" Watch out; I'll be making pie next!

Send me vicodin!

One more session and we're done. Special thanks to X for coming over, hanging out, and shooting some pics. Can't wait to see how they turn out.

Didn't get as much done as I had hoped because we started drinking around 3pm Saturday. Continued for a good 12 hours. Got up early, drove the two hours home on an empty stomach.

Now I'm starving, but...

then you can never have faith, because by definition faith is the belief of something in the face of no evidence or conflicting evidence.

Record is almost done... just a few more finishing touches. I'm writing up charts for viola and clarinet as I multitask. My high school band director would have yet another reason to hate me.

CD baby is the shit!

Cheers for the kind words over the past few weeks, mate. Wish I could sort you out with some proper English beer in the post, but our goverments would probably find some worthy and terribly important reason why thay wouldnt be such a good idea! Sounds like your CD is a veritable eclectic instrument-fest! wink

jack really hasn't done too much damage to the furniture, but it's difficult to judge that when all of your furniture is thrift store quality anyway....

Music snob is good. Ever heard of Failure? If you like Floyd and Nirvana you should give em' a try. I guess one way to describe their sound is "space rock" it's not entirely accurate though, but close enough. Do you use any line 6 stuff, like the pod? Just curious.

we actually didn't enjoy the show much since he only played 3 or 4 old songs...and they didn't sound like the old stuff even then. we don't enjoy his new stuff and that's almost all he played. it was really a let down.

I can't say that I'm suprised, but goddamn I'm fucking disappointed. And scared. But this country has survived civil and world wars, Viet Nam, and Nixon. We will no doubt make it through these dark times.

There probably won't be much of an economy, and our natural resources and a large percentage of our national forests will have been raped, and our reputation in the...

PORTLAND:A Chrono's perspective

Pros: 1- Public Transportation FUCKING ROCKS; 2- It's nice and urban, but not overblown overrun or overpopulated but Evenly spaced and CLEAN like a Canadian city; 3- Lots of Gallerys all over town (and every month, on the first Thursday, EVERY gallery gets a new exhibit. it's an event, and downtown is packed with people going to and from each gallery.)

Cons: 1- It's just as rainy as the NE (at least during the winter (but not as snowy as it South of the Great Lakes., so this is kinda a "pro"); 2- The jobs aren't as diverse as I'd hoped. It seeems a lot like Syracuse, all the interesting and well paying jobs are just plain hard to find. People who have those jobs know they're good an rare, and aren't giving em up anytime soon.

Neutrals: 1- Stripclubs (I didn't have the time or money to go to any of them. I hear there's a lot of em, but sometimes quantity doesn't indicate quality). 2- Produce. I only went to two grocery stores, but both of em that I went to had terrible produce. Braeburn apples (my secondfavorite) tasted absolutely awful. There are probably good ones in the city, I just didn't come across any.

Last election I was driving to NY to work with Malcolm Burn and this time I'm driving to CO to work with Malcolm. Hopefully this time the election will really be over by the time I get there and Shrub WON'T be president.
