Les and I had a wonderful feast to welcome in the colors and the chill to the air. I can smell the lake breeze blowing in through my window with a hint of dying vegetation. It is autumn.
Tonight we ate butternut squash from a neighboring farm along with a stirfry of late peppers, yellow squash, onions and garlic. A bottle of Syrah,... Read More
i need more pagan friends to share my time with. im all alone in my pagan-ness in a city overrun by 'gods children', aka those who take my rights away.
yes, zee blade wast stained, but i have the antidote [for my blade] for such treachery....
rub it in the Russian's feces [that he dropped all over the floor once he tangled with the fearsome Mad Capn Bryn]!
i think ive had it with this country too.
me wanna get 6 weeks mandatory paid vacation... not just.... 3 days.
ooga booga.
I vomited horribly last night. Dry heaves, bile, then finally fecal matter - at least that's what it tasted like.
The roomate invited over five buddies last night around midnight. Evidently they had just come from the bar. Fucking chatches, every single one of them. It's funny how the roommate never hangs out with women. Ever. He sits around and looks at his Penthouse and... Read More
OH jebuslawdfuckingkrist. What a great night! I somehow escaped the hangover, and was up at 11. I think I finally went to bed around 6, though I can't quite remember. Bathory and The B came over for a night of drinking and all around buzzity goodness. Many pictures were taken during the course of the evening, which warmed up nicely with a viewing of the... I took half the day off today. I checked out that new brewpub in town, Hair of the Frog Brewery, and saw Paper Moon from winnipeg, the Icicles -- whose singer I happened to know from a previous band that MY previous band played with several times -- and the Essex Green. I love that band, and I had no clue they were playing.... Read More

What's the deal with Anne McCafferey??? The last several books have been about NOTHING. Same with the current one, Dragon's Kin. As a result, I think I broke a record with the amount of drool that was on the keyboard at work today. The director was snoring so loudly that the adjacent studio had to stop and come knock on the door.
I gave on Anne McCaffery years ago, and Marion Zimmer Bradley, too.
Neither of them is very nice to new writers, either, or so I've been
told.
Tried any Jane Yolen. Just don't let her spank you... Don't tell her I
told you, either. What's really cool is running into Rebecca Ore in
systems administrator newsgroups or Somtow online, too.
Chris Claremont is very competitive in the backrub arena.
Though I need to stop shaking authors' hands. They tend to die...
mmmmm cheerio dust. but i'm still hungry.
hmmmm. potatoes, tomatoes and eggs.
I think that'll work out just nicely.
I can't believe it's already the middle of september. Today's the first cold rainy day we've had, and it's surprisingly pleasant. A great day for a pipeful of some garden fresh head medicine.
As much as I love it, pbr does not reciprocate. Totally unrequited. But... Read More
I read the most wonderful book today. Devoured it in one sitting. The early-morning coffee-and-cigarette outside-under-the-pine-tree turned into an all-day affair. Partially autobiographical, the book wove four "coming of age" type-stories into a final essay on the author's current state of mind. It was one of those that just makes you soo inspired.. I want to take the author and just hug hug hug her... Read More
