Strangely, this iBook is working again. Maybe it just needed a rest, as it's been on constantly for nearly a year and a half.
Heading up to Les's for a few days for some inspiration and solitude with some instruments and Mbox in tow. Gonna make some music and finally record some songs that have been fermenting for awhile. Some for years and years. Hell, I haven't recorded music at all for nearly six months. Pathetic!
I just found out my old boss is leaving the studio business to tour with his wife, who's a well known singer/songwriter. I hope they hit Portland in their travels. I just love those people. And she can put away tequila like noone I've ever seen before. I'm so excited for the both of them!
I can't believe I was up at 6 am today. This no drinking/drugs thing is giving me tons and tongues of energy! Come play with me.

I'm going to wait for him to call me back later this week or perhaps next. Once he does I'll ask if he's taking on more work and if so pass on his contact info.
Have fun recording songs. Re: the time off, don't be too hard on yourself. I'm just in a writing mode myself and just don't feel like recording anything...
While he was working on this goal he happened across some Mango Rum, and was pretty buzzed. So he decided that "rum is rum, and rum goes with cola." He mixed it with Diet Pepsi. He didn't drink it, until he put some grapefruit soda in it (yeah, the Pepsi and rum with grapefruit soda....yummy).
Alright, go record some music, be great. Congrats on the no drugs/no drinks.
