Such a rare, gentle person with tremendous talent. And it turns out she's been playing some shows with a guy -- Paul Baribeau -- from Grand Haven (the old domicile) who played a show with me and my old band two Halloweens ago. Weird, huh? I love how wonderfully strange life is sometimes.

How's the building coming along? You've secured the space now, correct?
My contractor bumped into a guy downtown the other day who's 1) an acoustic designer 2) built several studios 3) is an HVAC specialist 4) is a contractor who's worked in Portland for some time and 5) is completely down to earth and cool to talk to. He's going to assist with the design and planning on my studio and also help me get all of my stuffs approved by Portland so that all construction's legit. Yippee!
