I don't know what I did, but Sunday morning I woke up with my neck stiffer than a 14 year old boy on Viagra. It took every ounce of my strength and will to get myself out of bed and to the medicine cupboard.

Ahhhhhhhhhh. Flexerill and Vicodin. What a lovely cocktail. I stayed in my PJ's all day fucking long. Slept on and off. I felt like jello in orbit, and it was nice. Add to that a beer around 9pm, and I really teetered on the edge of cognitive operation. Poor Les! I tried to talk, but it just kinda came out as nonsense. So, sorry babydoll. biggrin But my neck felt better! At least I was able to stretch out some of the hellacious knots in my superior trapezious without crying like a poopy baby.

Thanksgiving was wonderful, as usual. My Beautiful Swedes made it over. What a breath of fresh air. What a wonderful culture. I truly wish America would embrace Polite Society, have it be en vogue or something. At least be accepted without being considered egalitarian or wishy-washy or flip-floppy or snooty. Just kind, gentle, and refined. Someday our culture will grow up...

The eats were good. My brother, Tweetah and I made the vegetarian/vegan entre and desserts for the feast. Nearly thirty hungry, tipsy heads to please. Tough order! Alongside the traditional turkies perpared by our host, Uncle Buzz, we made seitan "faux-turkey" from scratch, and while no emulation for the real thing, it was dee-fucking-licious. I made a my bourbon pecan pie and an off-the-cuff baked-pear dessert (which actually got me some slaps on the back), and Tweetahbee made an amazing vegan cheesecake that deserved applause. We drank lots, had wonderful visits with the Grandparents and the Aunts, Uncles, and cousins, and had a generally wonderful time, sans dysfunction! A first! Hooray!

Now that I've found the stash of vikes, I'm going to have to hide them again. I've taken two more in the midst of writing this entry, and the effects are creeping in the outer edges of my peripheral vision. biggrin It's going to be a pleasant evening.

Hey, curiously, what are your feelings on medical cannabis?

Yeah, the name is what attracted me when I was younger, but I normally hate wine and champagne, however, I just loved the stuff.

So, come for the name, stay for the taste I guess. biggrin

I'm for grass, period, although my name is deceptive; I've very rarely even had any. A handful of times in my life, really.
Somehow, I resisted the urge to "go to the next level" of drugs and take coke and heroin! whatever whatever

I did manage to get gacked on bourbon tonight, though. Oooh, "gateway drug!" Watch out; I'll be making pie next!

Send me vicodin!
