FOUR DAYS.
and they are going soo slowly.
It's Tweetah's birthday today! Many happy returns, little bro.
I had a good weekend though. SYH653 came up from Wixom and met Bathory, MrNiceGuy, MissKaboom and X at bathorysmom's house for what turned out to be the first grill-out I've attended all summer. It was freezing cold, but the Ouzo flowed freely, and the food was fabulous!
SYH came over and spent the night. We drank more beer and watched the 1977 animated movie of The Hobbit. We woke up late, ate breakfast and went fishing. Wouldn't you know it, the first DNR officer that I've ever seen around here pulled up quietly beside us on a fucking Sea-Doo and proceeded to issue poor, poor SYH a fucking ticket for not having a goddamn fishing license. Terribly unfortunate for SYH, as it appears to be a misdeameanor offense, but I'm gonna pay for it since I had to basically twist his arm to come fishing in the first place
If there can be a silver-lining to this thunderhead, maybe he'll get a new job out of it!
This is going to be the longest four days in recent memory....
..but oh! what a wonderful prize at the end!
