well, I got the computer built! And running smoothly, though it's on my old copy of win98 from gateway.
Since it's for my parents, and they just occasionally surf the internet, i'm guessing it will work just fine for them.
Now I need to build MY pc. And get a mac. I need both platforms so I can run Acid, CD Architect and surf on the pc while keeping the Mac free and clear for intense audio recording and editing.
Good news is I can build the PC for dirt cheap and save fundage for a G5.
I hope that tax return comes sooooon!!

Favorite music to, ahem, "dance" to? Uhh...erm...Ravel's Bolero's pretty good...Beethoven's Fifth Symphony as well. The Ninth & Third work well too.
Man, I haven't gotten my swerve (isn't that what the kids say) on in years, so I have a pile of music that I'd like to try out. I guess my all-time favorite from my frisky days would be the soundtrack to Last of the Mohicans.
