I took half the day off today. I checked out that new brewpub in town, Hair of the Frog Brewery, and saw Paper Moon from winnipeg, the Icicles -- whose singer I happened to know from a previous band that MY previous band played with several times -- and the Essex Green. I love that band, and I had no clue they were playing. What a great surprise.
The beer was really quite good, as was the wine. Yes, I drank a little too much, and as a result have felt shitty allll day. The boss is on vacation, there's not really any pressing work, so I said "fuckit" and took off at lunch. I still have 3.5 sick days left for this year, so it's all dandydandy.
Now I'm being a lazy ass, and it's wonderful.
