I'm home, I'm home, I'm home! It feels so good to be back in the city... the traffic, the pollution, the commerce....

Some things that I learned about myself on this trip:

1. It won't kill me to be away from home and my fiance for 3 weeks. Sometimes it comes close, but it won't kill me. It helps when you forge a friendship with the higher-ups.

2. Alcohol is not very important. I have only had 2 drinks drink since I vomited (for the first time from drinking) after my birthday in February. I did not drink on my trip for several reasons. One being that I was on antibiotics for the first week. Two was that I did not want to drink in an uncontrolled environment (I like to be in control at all times). Three was that it was damned expensive. And four was that I spent a lot of time with Penn, who is very anti-alcohol.

3. Bahamas = crap. Grand Cayman = awesome.

4. When it is 94 degrees out and 100% humidity, you can drink 10 bottles of water, sweat it out, and only pee once every 12 hours. This, along with a balanced diet and mild-moderate exercise makes it very easy to lose weight.

5. Ultimately, this was a very good experience and, while there were some really bad times, there were also some really great times. I look back fondly on the experience, despite the sunburn and the exhaustion and the homesickness.
