A banner weekend for Sporky!
I finally got a new cell phone! Top of the line Motorola through Verizon - the one that has the V-Cast telelvision on your phone. Which of course is dangerous - it's like giving an alcoholic a cell phone attached to a flask. I love television.
One of my best friends (also a bridesmaid) came to visit from the Bay Area. Also went to meet with one of the bands we are considering for the wedding. They were a little pricey, but I really liked them.
My biggest news is my new body mod! I got a surface piercing on the nape of my neck! I'm very excited about it. It was so easy and by day 2, it doesn't hurt at all. I know that the pain will probably come in a few days, but my piercer is confident that I will be able to heal it. My fiance thinks I am weird because it is not very visible. I wear my hair down so you can't see it. I love it. I get piercing for myself, not necessarily to show it off. Besides, even though I don't live at home anymore, I still feel like I need to hide it from my parents.

you know I haven't lived at home since 1997 and my mom would still freak out if I pierced or tattoed anything.
