So last night I went to stalk - I mean, see - the Cure when they were on Jimmy Kimmel. It was damn cool. They played a 40 minute set, and I was about 10 feet from the stage. Who ever thinks they are going to see The Cure in a club-like setting?

Afterwards my friend and I hung out back stage. It was really boring, so we lef the greenroom, and as we were leaving, I noticed a black mass of hair jutting out above the crowd. I just stopped and stared, while my friend was totally oblivious. I finally turned to her and said "Are you fucking blind?" She looks around, then finally spies Robert Smith. We were going to go up and just say something lame like "Nice show, see you tomorrow" but there were some screaming teens hounding him (I kid you not, two were reduced to hysterical tears), so we just decieded to stand back and laugh, amused at the whole thing. Robert looked like he wanted the earth to swallow him up. I think he saw us laughing at him. No, wait, we were laughing with him.

Anyway, my friend's friend is on the stage crew for Curiosa, so supposedly he is leaving VIP party passes at will call for us tonight, which will allegedly get us into The Cure's private afterparty. We met the stage manager and most of the crew, who were all really cool and had lovely accents.
