I watched a show on VH1 this weekend that has really got me pissed. It was another one of those shows that try to show just how important celeb's are, so that we don't go kill those fuckers. They were talking about how much these overpaid lame-ass, Lil Kim got thousands of dollars just to sit in a reserved balcony at some bar, Paris Hilton got paid X amount for the use of her name. What the hell is wrong with our society? I, for one, think Paris is a complete moron and would NEVER buy anything that this poor excuse for a human would ever hauk.
I think that what really got me was when they started talking about all the free crap that companies give them. WHAT??? these people make way more money than they know what to do with and they get free goodies? They talked about how people like Paris, who somehow is worth millions even though she has never done a days worth of work in her lifetime, went thru this event and grabbed up all the freebies that were offered. At some lodge during Sundance, Celeb's can get all sort's of freebies, hell they can even get crap that is not even there. Demi Moore, who only has made a few good movies(her earlier work, way before that suck ass GI Jane) requested and got, new ski equipment.
Now, I know, not all of them are that bad. Piss off, yes they are.
If you make millions of dollars period...buy your own crap. Leave the freebies to those of us that actually work hard for a living and cannot afford this stuff to begin with. Hell I bet most of them either toss it in a drawer and forget about it or pawn it off for drugs.
Oh well I should be off to one of my other jobs now
