flip_book has been reminding me I've been slacking in my t-shirt of the week duties. Sooooo, I give you not one, not even two, but 3...count 'em 3 t-shirts for your viewing pleasure!

So lately I've been finding a bunch of people I know in real life...what's the word I'm looking for?

...disappointing.

I'll save y'all the major rant. I'm just at a point where I'm a little tired of putting myself out there. For the moment, I'm thinking about either just closing myself off emotionally and putting on my "happy jim" face and court jester mentality (mental note: buy jester hat) and playing the role, or as another option, just being shallow and self-centered for a while...I'm kinda frustrated with people in my real life right now.

For example, maybe I'm strange but I don't think a fun night out is meeting up with "the crew", cracking open some Coors lights (ugh) and immediately going on the prowl for the girl you want to wake up next to in the morning and subsequently try to sneak off from. Oh, it's also not cool when members of the so-called "crew" have no problem trying to steal the girl you're talking to the minute you turn away.

On the flip side, trying to get my closer friends out somewhere with a multitude of people is like pulling teeth. They're not exactly social butterflies...hell, they're not even social moths.

I like to go out, drink good alcohol, and carry on and have a good time. I like to meet new people, especially people of the female persuasion that want to do fun things to me, but to me a fun night out isn't "the hunt", it's hanging out with cool people and getting more cool people to join in the goofiness. I'm interested in checking out SGPhilly, but with the constant working thing and the almost constant no money thing, I'm kinda stuck at the moment. Forgive me if I'm grumpy.
