Damn last week was a long one.

So now I'm knee...er...waist deep in caseloads. I've got one person's full caseload, part of another recent departee's, and I've got to pick-up a few long distance monitorings for a pregnant co-worker. Basically, I got tossed in the deep end and they want to see if I drown or not. However, I'm learning as I go, getting the hang of the paperwork and what I can bill for and meeting a lot of wonderful people.

The concert was great...Flogging Molly once again proved that they are the best live show known to man, and the Murphys once again delivered a high octane performance. Much fun was had.

I only have one complaint about the show, and will now vent...skip it if you don't wanna hear...

Ok...I love the Murphys, but they bring in a piss-poor audience. A pit formed right next to me and it had a bunch of fucknuts in it...where to begin...

Ok...hey buddy...yeah you, the drunk one pacing along the edge waiting for somebody small enough to come close so you can jump in and do your best to injure him...you are not a mosher, you are an asshole. When the guys that were bigger then you pushed you around and then put you on your ass when you tried to start a fight the rest of us laughed at you.

And you...the chick who came flying at people with a lit cigarette held out in front of you...you're an asshole too (not my first choice of words but I'll be nice)...you further proved this by throwing half-full bottles of beer at crowded parts of the audience. And quit acting all tough, cause your sorry ass knew none of the cool people were going to fuck up a five-foot-nothing girl, bitch or not.

Oh, and your friend, the five-foot-nothing dude that was doing his best to look like the wrong kind of skinhead? Can you have him explain to me how he thinks it's cool to cherry-pick a pit? I mean fuckin' really...waiting at the edge to catch someone not looking, running in, cheap-shotting them and running back out? Wooooow...you're my new fuckin' hero now, short-man...oh, and don't look so pissed when somebody pushes you...it's kinda the point.



So yeah, I didn't get in that mess of a pit (I knew I was getting older when I stopped jumping in the pit and started watching it...though I did almost jump in during Flogging Molly) but happily karma showed up with a bunch of large, old-school moshers (you know, the pushing, shoving, funky dancing, let me help you back up when you've been knocked down type) that put those fucknuts in their place.

But moving on...hopefully I'll have some new pictures up soon. I've got two days training in center city this week, so I'm packing the camera and doing a little wandering before I catch the train home.
