Ok...let me briefly catch everyone up.
So I started at the social work position today. It's gonna be a long week of orientation and training and tagging along to client meetings and such. Soon it's gonna be a trial by fire...I'm in the floater position and there are several people out and a few open positions, so I'm gonna be busy.
I've also managed, at least for september, to stay on at the Luggage company part time on the weekends...the fact that they're short on help and two influential managers vouched for me helped, because they almost never do part time.
Now the downside...the new job pays every two weeks, and this is a pay week...that means I won't see a check until the 14th, and it will only be for ONE week. With my bank account being very low at the moment, it's going to be a rough month. I haven't factored in my part time money, but I know I'm going to be cutting things very close for a while...I should start to catch up/get ahead in a month or so.
