I got the apartment!!!!!!!



Yes, I did a victory dance...it wasn't pretty.


I have to call back and set up a date to sign the lease and get the keys and all that fun stuff. I'm aiming for the middle of may, but I might not finish moving in til the end of the month...it all depends how the job search goes...the sooner I find a good job, the sooner I move in (going to a job fair monday). Otherwise, I'll keep the casino job for a few extra weeks to pick up the pay checks.

A thought has occured to me though...I now have to explain to a six year old why she isn't gonna see her uncle jimmy all the time anymore. Ugh...that won't be fun. I'm gonna miss her, and the dogs, and just living near the ocean. But it's time to move on, and I'll only be a couple of hours away.

So, now comes the fun...packing stuff, making lists of stuff I need, buying furniture so everyone isn't sitting on the floor when they come over, finding a new job and trying to establish having a life again.
