So I spent most of the day in northeast Philly.
I started this morning with an appointment to check out an apartment...it's a nice place, room enough for the stuff I'd carry along with me, small kitchen, decent sized bedroom, and nearby just about anything I'd need...I-95, the train station, various stores, bars and other activities, and best of all just a couple minutes from several of my friends. The rent is good, and covers the heat, water and the gas stove. I filled out the application and should know next week if I'm good to move in in mid may. I'm hoping for the best.
After I got done with the leasing office, I stopped by my friend's job to say hi...he's got a ton of sick/vacation time, so he took the afternoon off and we hung out. Not the most productive of afternoons, but I've been stressing and I needed it.
